How to Rent Out My RV
How RV Rentals Actually Work — Based on Thousands of Real RentalsÂ
Educate. Equip. Earn.
Whether you're considering renting your RV, you've already started and want better systems, or you're scaling an established rental operation, you'll find practical guidance here — proven systems, ready-to-use documents, and lessons drawn from thousands of real rental transactions.
The opportunity is real, but so are the risks. Most owners recover the cost of this program in their first one or two rentals — and avoid the mistakes (insurance gaps, problem renters, missing paperwork) that turn a profitable rental into an expensive one.
Why This Course
Renting your RV can be profitable — but only if it's set up thoughtfully. Most owners know their RV could generate income. What stops them isn't the opportunity — it's not knowing how to protect themselves when something goes wrong:
- What happens if a renter damages your RV?
- What does your insurance actually cover — and what won't it?
- How do you identify and avoid problem renters?
- What needs to be in place before you ever hand over the keys?
- Do you really need your own paperwork if you book through Outdoorsy or RVshare?
Without clear expectations and solid systems, renting your RV gets stressful, expensive, and unpredictable fast — and most of the mistakes owners make are entirely avoidable.
That's why this course exists. It shows you how to set up and run your RV rental using proven systems and renter-screening methods that work whether you book through Outdoorsy, RVshare, RVezy, or rent directly — so you can protect your RV, reduce your risk, and rent with confidence.
Â
This course is a great fit if you:
- Own an RV and want to turn it into reliable income
- Already rent and want to fix the gaps in your existing operation
- Want to protect your RV, your finances, and your time
- Want proven systems instead of piecing things together from internet searches or AI
- Want practical documents used in real, active rental businesses
- Want to avoid costly mistakes around insurance, screening, and rental agreements
- Want to operate confidently — through Outdoorsy, RVshare, RVezy, or direct rentals

I'm Rebecca!
I'm Rebecca — wife, mom, business owner, and someone who's been exactly where you are.
Growing up on a farm in Minnesota taught me the value of hard work and follow-through — lessons I carried into corporate leadership, and eventually into building businesses of my own. I started my first company in 2005 in event décor rental and wedding planning, growing it to hundreds of events a year before selling it to focus on my family.
My love for camping and rural life eventually led me into another rental space, where I built a business renting and managing RVs, horse trailers, utility trailers, and specialty equipment. In addition to renting my own units, I helped other owners successfully rent theirs as well. Through thousands of rental transactions, I learned what works, what doesn't, and how important it is to have the right systems in place from the beginning.
What I couldn't find when I started was a clear, practical resource built from real-world experience. So I created one.
Everything in this program comes from what I've actually used in my own rental business — the documents, screening processes, insurance questions, and operational systems that helped me successfully manage thousands of rentals. Over the years, I took the many forms, checklists, and moving pieces required to run a rental business and organized them into a practical, repeatable system that owners could actually use. These are the same tools and processes I relied on to protect my equipment, create a better renter experience, and build a rental operation that worked.
My goal is simple: to help RV owners make informed rental decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and build a rental business that fits their goals.
Family, faith, fun, and living with purpose drive everything I do — and I love helping others build businesses that support the life they want.

I grew from 2 RVs to 24 units in just two years.Â
Rebecca helped me get my RV rental business started. When I met her, I had 2 RVs and knew nothing about how to get started. She provided the paperwork, guidance, and other things I needed to get my business off the ground. Whenever I had questions or needed help, she was always there to help me work through it.
Within two years, I had grown my business to 24 rental units. I learned a lot along the way, but having Rebecca's experience and support made a huge difference.
Rebecca was great to work with, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to start or grow an RV rental business.

One renter incident proved the value of being prepared. Rebecca's documents and advice were a huge help. We wanted to rent our travel trailer when we weren't able to use it, and her guidance made the process much easier.
Her help with creating a solid rental contract, determining the right rental price, using checklists, and making sure we had the right insurance was well worth it.
We had an incident where we needed to go back to a customer for damage repairs. Having the right contract and documentation in place helped ensure we were covered and saved us from a significant expense.
I highly recommend the course to anyone considering renting out their RV or travel trailer. It helped us feel informed, prepared, and ready to generate extra income when we weren't enjoying our trailer ourselves.

Our RV paid for itself while we owned it. When we bought our RV, we hoped renting it out would help offset some of the costs, but we never expected it to have the impact it did.
Rebecca helped us put the right systems in place from the start, from pricing and renter screening to contracts and day-to-day operations. Having guidance from someone with real experience gave us the confidence to get started and avoid costly mistakes.
Over the years, we were able to enjoy our RV with our family while the rental income helped cover the costs of ownership. By the time we sold it, the RV had essentially paid for itself.
If you're considering renting out your RV, Rebecca's knowledge and experience are invaluable.

We recently completed the RV rental training course and couldn't be happier with the experience. The program provided us with everything we needed to confidently and successfully rent out our travel trailer. From understanding the rental process and guest communication to learning best practices for safety, insurance, and trailer management, the training covered every important detail.
What stood out most was how practical and easy to follow the course was. Rebecca clearly has extensive experience and shared valuable insights that helped us avoid common mistakes and feel prepared from day one. The resources, guidance, and support gave us the confidence to launch our rental business knowing we had the knowledge to do it right.
If you're considering renting out your RV or travel trailer, this training is absolutely worth the investment. The information and confidence we gained have already paid dividends, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to get started the right way.
